W.A. Parry Award Recognition
Chad T. Harwell, junior (T.I.M.) Thrice Illustrious Master of Riverside Council #384 receives a Silver Award Certificate of Recognition for his placement in the final 2014 W.A. Parry Award Individual Standings for presiding officers. Chad finish just two points shy of receiving a Gold Award Certificate. Way to go Chad. Current T.I.M. The W. A. Parry Award was created by Past Grand High Priest James W. Carter when he served as Grand High Priest of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas in the Capitular years 1984-1985. He also served as Grand Master of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas during the Cryptic years 1978-1979. Very Excellent/Very Illustrious Carter was a member of Polytechnic Chapter No. 404 and Polytechnic Council No. 336 in Fort Worth.
The purpose of the W. A. Parry award is to encourage improvement in ritualistic work in the degrees of York Rite Masonry.
